In February, ORG presents the return of a crowd favorite - The Fredonia Trombone Choir: An Evening of Pops & Classics! From the SUNY Fredonia School of Music, this ensemble of two dozen trombones performs everything from familiar pop standards to classical themes– an absolutely majestic sound that, combined with the soaring venue of St. Mary's Church, will take your breath away! In March, ORG presents the Celtic phenomenon from East Rochester, New York, Róisín Dubh - The Black Rose: An Evening of Irish Traditional Music! These extraordinary students from East Rochester High School have been featured on NPR and perform the traditional music of Ireland in authentic traditional and contemporary styles. They have performed more than 250 times, released three albums, and shared the stage with some of the top Irish musicians from our region and the world! Anonymous 4 performing at St. Mary's Church, Medina, April 4, 2013The Orleans Renaissance Group hosted world renowned A Capella artists Anonymous 4 who premiered their new program, Marie & Marion: Motets & Songs from the Montpellier Codex, Thursday, April 4th, 2013, in the historic sanctuary of St. Mary's RC Church, Medina, NY.

Renowned for their unearthly vocal blend and virtuosic ensemble singing, the four women of Anonymous 4 combine historical scholarship with contemporary performance intuition to create their magical sound.

The ensemble has performed on major concert series and at festivals throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, including appearances at Tanglewood, Wolftrap, BBC Proms, Edinburgh Festival and the Brisbane Biennial. Enchanted both by their live performances and by their eighteen recordings of medieval, contemporary, and American music, Anonymous 4′s listeners have bought nearly two million copies of the group’s albums on the harmonia mundi label.

Genesee Chorale & Orchestra

Thank you to Director & Conductor Ric Jones and the Genesee Chorale and Orchestra for their performance of Schubert Mass No. 6 on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Holy Trinity Church (St. Mary's RC Church). This concert was made possible in part with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the NYS Council of the Arts administered by the Genesee Regional Arts Council.

The SUNY Fredonia School of Music Trombone Choir under the direction of Carl Mazzio, former Principal Trombonist with the BPO Concert featured the power of twenty-three trombones, trombone soloists, and a trombone quartet- all in the celebrated acoustics of historic St. Mary's Church.
